Public Relations Manager

Shaw Search Partners is proud to partner with nationally renowned and publicly traded financial technology services company seeking a Public Relations Manager.

The Public Relations Manager will help to develop programs that support the growth of various companies within the portfolio:

Responsibilities • Develop and implement public relations programs • Identify and develop story opportunities • Initiate and maintain media relationships • Write press releases, articles and pitch story ideas • Plan and manage press tours, conferences and events • Take the lead in multiple concurrent projects • Act as a media advocate for C-suite and senior leadership.

Qualifications • 3-5 years of public relations or related experience • Strong experience in writing, creative storytelling, pitching, and media relations • Experience with financial services or technology industries preferred • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

This is a full time, hybrid role based in Detroit. Relocation assistance may be offered.
