When networking is done well, it can help you secure a job faster and also give you the edge another candidate might not have. Be generous in your networking and approach interactions in a way that you can offer your services to others. Perhaps you can be a mentor or introduce someone to their next career opportunity. Invest in Yourself.
Take a class. Register for a seminar. Follow your passions in your career field. What have you wanted to learn more about? Taking some time to be proactive in the development of yourself is a smart resolution for 2020.
